The Department of War High Performance Computing Modernization Program (DOW HPCMP) Branding Guide was developed to reinforce the HPCMP’s identity and core principles.

The foundation of the department’s brand is the HPCMP’s Mission and Visions Statements:

The mission of the DOW HPCMP is to accelerate technology development and transition into superior defense capabilities through the strategic application of high-performance computing, networking, and computational expertise.

Our vision is one in which a pervasive culture exists within the DOW that drives the routine use of advanced computational environments to solve the Department’s most critical mission challenges.

Objective

The purpose of this guide is to ensure that no matter how people engage with the HPCMP, they are left with an impression that accurately reflects the department’s brand identity, mission and vision.

Logo

The HPCMP Logo consists of a colored-swish with a logotype set in Airstrike Bold for the main “HPC” text, and Arkitech Bold for the “Modernization Program” text.

This is the main logo and the inverted logo for the HPCMP and should be used in most cases where the design allows.

This coin-shaped logo contains the new logo over a circuit board background and can be used as a standalone or icon.

Typical use cases include: Image overlays, print materials and certain web applications.

Logo Color

The DOW HPCMP logo should be presented in the Black and Purple colorway, or the inverted DOW HPCMP Logo should be presented in the White and Gray colorway,dependent on what the design allows.
